Digital transformation and corporate culture

When the company's goal is digital transformation, then the corporate culture is one of its most important elements.

However, I often see that when the conversation turns to the topic of corporate culture, it inevitably causes yawns and dramatic eye-rolls - perhaps because no one knows what to do about it. But agricultural engineers somehow managed to study the composition, properties and characteristics of soil, climate and seedlings in order to predict the future harvest.

Certain qualities that we value in a person - talent, opportunities, purposefulness - are leveled out in a collective task if they are sown in unsuitable soil. I mean, if you are a happy farmer who owns several hectares of excellent black soil in Ukraine, it would not occur to you to cultivate Annona Scaly. And the heroes of my stories believe that if you water and wait more often, then soon they will establish export to Jamaica.

Why don't business people embarking on a digital transformation start by analyzing the existing corporate culture and comparing expectations with reality?
